    Description

    c.1975 Carlo Robelli Jazz Bass:
    This bass was made in Japan and was sold through Sam Ash stores.  Carlo Robelli is a Sam Ash brand name since the late 1960's.  This bass was probably made by Matsumoku.  These 1970's Robellis were great entry level instruments.  I started on a 335 copy.  The tone pot has been changed.  The bass is otherwise original as far as I can tell.  It has just received a new set of strings.  Covers and thumb rest are missing.  There is an added strap pin.  This thing has mojo to spare.  There is is some fret wear but lots of life left.  Plenty of dings, dents, scratches and other wear.  9lbs., 9oz.  Please look at the photos and feel free to ask for more.  This bass ships in what was probably the original hard shell case that has been around for almost 50 years.  It is sturdy but tired.
