Description
Up for auction is a pristine genuine Fender American Professional 5-string Precision Bass, in the color combination of Olympic White body with a beautiful translucent green pickguard. The enclosed photos don't do it justice! The Precision Bass needs no introduction, as it is heard on countless recordings from the early days of rock and roll to the rise of surf music (e.g. Beach Boys; Carol Kaye) to practically every Motown recording to hard rock (The Who, The Cult, Iron Maiden) to the music of today. And, oh yeah, Roger Waters of Pink Floyd would not be caught dead playing anything else! What makes the Precision great is it's simplicity- one great split coil pickup, one volume knob, and one tone knob. Everything you need, and nothing you don't!This latest generation of Leo Fender's masterpiece is true to the original, with several improvements; mainly the best pickup ever in a Precision designed by Tim Bump. Combined with a genuine bone nut and high-mass bridge for added sustain, and you have a masterpiece! Here are the specs:
