Description

Rare Robin Ranger bass. According to online research (Vintage Guitar article by Willie G. Moseley Dec. 2010), this was one of the early import models made by ESP in Japan for Robin Guitars (Houston, TX -Alamo Music) between 1983-1987. This has a low 4 digit serial number, but I don't see any other date markings. This bass is super responsive with a great tone and it's medium scale 32" neck is a breeze to play.  Cosmetically, it is better than you would expect from a 35 year old guitar. Has light finger markings on the upper side of the strings and slight polishing swirls. This bass was babied! The pots are quiet, tuners are firm and hold well. Has a fresh set up with new #45 strings. Comes in it's original Robin badged hard case (excellent condition) and includes an old Robin bumper sticker (sticker adhesive is shot though!)
