    Description

    Thanks for checking out this Sadowsky MetroExpress P/J 4 String Bass.
    This is one of the new entry-level Sadowskys made in collaboration with Warwick.
    Number 32, by the serial number.
    The white pickguard is included, but I think the bass looks better without it.
    I'm only selling this because I'm not playing 4-string bass anymore--I'm playing a 5 string version of the same bass, and it's bloody awesome.
    It's the same preamp as the boutique Sadowskys, so it sounds great.
    There's a video somewhere on Youtube of the late great Rocco Prestia at Namm noodling around with one of these, and at the end of it, he looks at the camera and says, "It's a Sadowsky. That's all you need to know."
    The sound of this bass is deeper, richer, more expensive. cleaner, brighter, more articulate, more versatile, more vintage, more modern, more "woods-y," (and louder) than my MTD, Lakland, Sire, or ESP. They make the other basses sound like "just basses."
    I bought a Sadowsky waterslide which I didn't get around to applying yet. They gave me two (I'm going to put the other on the 5-string), so you can add this one if you want. I'll enclose the application instructions as well.
